What is Embrune?

Embrune is a browser-based RPG inspired by the early days of RuneScape - built around exploration, skill progression, and a world full of secrets. Don't let the simplistic UI fool you; this is not an idle game.

Features

  • 500+ Points of Interest across a vast overworld and hidden underground layer
  • Real-time instanced combat with RS-style mechanics
  • 20 skills with an estimated 20,000 hours to max
  • 14+ quests with hand-crafted narratives and hidden questlines
  • Procedurally generated music and SFX - every note created in real time, zero audio files
  • Live global chat with real players
  • Desktop version available with silent auto-updates

How does it play?

Embrune uses a Point of Interest system — explore the map, discover locations, and interact with the world through a clean button-driven interface. Think MUD, but without the text wall. Progression is deep, the world is large, and there's far more hidden beneath the surface than the map lets on.
